Yes we offer in-swing configurations. However, overhead protection is required to shield the doors from excess weather conditions.

Yes, our retractable screens are custom made. Options include flyscreens, honeycomb blind material, or a combination of both. Each cassette can span up to 16 ft., and dual cassettes in a single track, cover up to 32 ft. Up to 10 feet height.
While our Pultrum core offer exceptional strength, we currently do not offer hurricane-rated doors. Impact design is incorporated into the frame and testing is planned for the near future.
We have in stock powder-coated finishes in matte black and white. Dual color options are available at no extra charge using the in-stock colors. Over 200 RAL custom colors are available upon request.

Your URBN Patio Door will be delivered directly to your location on the day of installation. Basic delivery fees apply, and additional costs may be incurred if special equipment is needed or if the panels must be transported to upper levels or hard-to-access areas. Do I Need to Install a Sill Pan?It’s a simple yet powerful layer of protection, directing any moisture away from the bottom of your opening and keeping it dry for years to come. We highly recommend installing a sill pan to safeguard your investment and maintain the longevity of your URBN Patio folding doors. It’s peace of mind you can count on, rain or shine.
No. The contractor is responsible for selecting the Sill pan that will best fit the project. Sill pan costs start at $50.00 x linear foot, on an average.
Waterproofing the opening is the responsibility of the contractor and must be completed before installation day. Once the door is in place, your contractor is also responsible for finishing the opening in accordance with our guidelines to ensure optimal performance and long-lasting protection.
The complementary service includes step-by-step guidance to ensure every door is installed correctly. We work directly with the contractor, subcontractor, or installer. Once the door is installed, we make adjustments if needed, inspect the finished installation, walk the customer through the door operation, care, maintenance. we programmed the keypad and show you how to use it. Finally the installation is signed-off once is all approved.
Contractors, or installers must provide their own tools, and materials to perform the installation, including but not limited to self-leveling laser, ladders, saw horses, flat shims, sealants, and apropriate fixings to secure the door to the opening. We provide the know-how.
A J-Channel protects not just the finish of the door, it protects the level of the tracks and allows easy access for future adjustments, with minimal damage to the finish of the opening. Its cost is outweighed by the many benefits it brings.
No, the battery backup is design for emergency use only to open and close the door. If you leave the main door open and rely on the battery backup, it will drain within a few hours. It uses power to stay open. You must connect your door to a reliable power source.
The backup battery is designed to provide enough power for up to 100 open and close actions as long as the main door remains closed. To ensure reliable operation, it’s recommended to replace the batteries once a year, and promptly after any power outage.
Yes, you will need an electrician to prepare the connection before installation day. Whether you choose to wire it directly to your property’s AC or simply use a wall plug. Our installers will take care of connecting the smart keypad during the door installation.
