Urbn Patio Doors, LLC provides a Limited Lifetime Warranty, to the original owner/end user of the structure in which the product is installed and is not transferable. This warranty begins on the date door, and/or screen is completed in the factory. Urbn Patio Doors, LLC warrants in accordance with the conditions, limitations and restrictions outlined below that every Urbn Patio Doors product shall be free of defects in workmanship, and materials which would cause the product to be unfit to perform. This guarantee ensures that the product will remain serviceable for standard daily use, for the time stated in the table below. This Warranty is given with the utmost professionalism and dedication to quality, to ensure compliance, it is necessary to register the door(s), within 6 months of installation, to operate the door system as it is instructed and to follow the care and maintenance recommendations.

As per the times stated in the above table:
1. EXTRUDED ALUMINUM, FIBERGLASS AND PULTRUM FRAME COMPONENTS are protected against manufacturing flaws that could lead to a compromised structural integrity.
2. PROFOLD OPERATIONAL HARDWARE (hinges, guides, and rollers) is warranted to be free from defects in workmanship, and materials which would cause the product to be unfit to slide, open and close.
3. LOCKING MECHANISM AND HANDLES are warranted from quality and defects that may prevent the operation of the doors.
4. PAINT FINISHES are warranted from cracking peeling, blistering, peeling, or fading.
5. GLASS, Standard insulated glass units with super-spacer bar are warranted against seal failure due to manufacturing defects resulting in visible obstruction through the glass (lines, discoloration, or surface Flaws) from 10 ft. looking through the glass, as per the ASTM C1036-01 Federal guidelines. Laminated glass is warranted from delamination resulting in visible obstruction through the glass. Other types of glass are provided with the same warranties, limitations and exclusions received from the supplier.
6. SMART LOCK AND COMPONENTS warrants that the product will be free from manufacturing defects in technical and material resulting in failure to operate.
7. SCREEN, SCREEN/BLIND COMBINATION is warranted for interior applications only, mesh, and solid fabrics are not designed to prevent accidents, stop a person or pet and/or withstand windy conditions.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE RECOMMENDATIONS
To ensure the longevity of your product and maintain its warranty, it is essential to regularly clean and lubricate all operational hardware, including handles, glass, and surfaces. This will prevent salt corrosion, residue buildup, and finish discoloration, keep tracks free from debris and regularly apply lubricant to ensure hardware slides freely. Follow the guidelines outlined in the Owner's Manual using the recommended cleaning products.

COMMERCIAL AND HOSPITALITY APPLICATIONS CARE AND MAINTENANCE RECOMMENDATIONS.
For doors, and screens installed in commercial spaces, it's important to train your staff to handle the products and prevent customers from using them to avoid harm or misuse. In the hospitality industry, it's advisable to provide printed instructions for guests to operate the doors and have a staff member demonstrate the process. Additionally, keep in mind that doors in busy areas tend to collect debris and trash, so it's essential to vacuum the bottom tracks daily to ensure the guides slide smoothly.
** It is the sole responsibility of the buyer, end user, or builder to strictly comply with the provided installation, operation, care, and maintenance instructions, and to ensure the door system is protected from misuse, including but not limited to operation by individuals unfamiliar with its proper function. Failure to follow Urbn Doors LLC instructions and to take reasonable measure to prevent damage from improper use or maintenance will constitute negligence and result in forfeiture of all explicit warranties provided under this Limited Lifetime Warranty.
PRODUCT EXCLUSIVE REMEDY
Urbn Patio Doors, LLC warranty begins from the date of order completion and is not a warranty of future performance. If any such a failure occurs during the period of your warranty, and in accordance with its terms stated above. Urbn Patio Doors, LLC will, in its sole discretion, repair, or replace the product or component, and ship at our cost, or refund the price for the defective product or component. The warranty on the replacement parts will extend only for the balance of the warranty period of the original product. In no event shall Urbn Patio Doors, LLC. be responsible for the cost of labor to replace the parts or any costs associated with the removal, installation, sales tax, shipping outside of the country, finishing, refinishing or any other associated incidental or consequential cost, for the replacement of components or parts, unless expressly required by state law.
PRODUCT EXCLUSIONS
The warranty provided has certain limitations and does not extend to situations that do not signify a defect in the product or arise due to factors beyond the control of Urbn Patio Doors, LLC, which includes but is not limited to:
• Any products that Urbn Patio Doors has not received complete payment.
• Products installed and used in applications exceeding design standards.
• Acts of nature (hurricane, tornados) unusual or extreme atmospheric situations, war, insurrection, terrorism
• Negligence, product abuse, misuse, or accidents by user or individuals unfamiliar with the product operation.
• Any modifications, alterations to the product frame components, hardware or materials by any individual not authorized by Urbn Patio Doors.
• Failure to report damages upon delivery, or present proof before installation.
• Failure to report issues within 30 days of identifying a problem.
• Slight bowing under 1/4” in aluminum panels when exposed directly to sun is not to be consider a defect.
• Failure to follow Urbn Patio Doors installation instructions and relevant building codes.
• Damage to frame components, hardware, glass, cables, screen material, and/or to electronic elements not reported prior to installation.
• Damage to frame components, hardware, glass, cables, screen material, and/or to electronic elements during or after the installation.
• Damages to frame and keypad finish during or after installation.
• Cutting, resizing, drilling, or altering any of the door system or screen hardware or components by any individual not authorized by Urbn Patio Doors.
• Installation in a slope, or non-square application will void all warranties.
• Improper or non-standard field finishing.
• Non-factory: modifications, electronic devices, and/or third-party sensors.
• Failures caused by structural settlement, shifting where the product is installed, and header dropping.
• Operational issues caused by improper installation, included but not limited to: Frame not leveled, square and plumbed, frame not secured properly on all points, tracks not leveled, head track dropping.
• Operational issues caused by failure to follow installation and finishing of the opening recomendations, included but not limited to: using wedge or wood shims, firmly secure the frame to the opening, using expansion foam, failure to use a J channel, attaching stucco to the frame.
• Improper screen assembly, installation, and poor maintenance.
• Screen damage cause by accidental fall, or run through by people, pets or wild animals, misuse, abuse, cloth fading from sun exposure.
• Screen installed on the exterior of an opening are not covered by this warranty.
• Failure by corrosion, vibration, localized heat exceeding 150 degrees, harmful fumes, vapors, or chemicals.
• Failure to report glass cracks, surface damages, breakage, when product is been unpacked and before installation.
• According with the ASTM C1036-01 Federal guidelines, any flaw in the glass (lines, discoloration, or surface Flaws) that do not affect the structural integrity, obstruct vision, or cannot be detected from 10 feet while looking through the glass are considered acceptable.
• Failure resulting from installation in high moisture areas or sources of chlorine, in areas that fail to provide proper drainage, ventilation, and moisture management. Condensation on the interior of the product from exposure to excess humidity.
• Failure to order capillary tubes for high altitude applications or failure to properly close them when not installed in high altitude.
• Glass unit failure due to the application of aftermarket films, tints, or other non-factory modifications.
• Glass replacement or modification not performed by Urbn Patio Doors Authorized technician.
• Glass unit damage, cracked, shattered, broken, for any cause or seal failure because of contact with chemicals.
• Glass imperfections allowable with ASTM or industry standards, not affecting structural integrity.
• Glass damage caused using razor blades, or inappropriate cleaners or chemicals.
• Urbn Patio Doors does not guarantee the quantity or ratio of argon/other inactive gas presence in the unit, nor we assure that the effectiveness of the gas will remain consistent over time.
• Finish fading, cracking, blisters, or damage unnoticeable from a distance of 10 feet.
• Failure due to power surges, battery corrosion from high humidity exposure.
• Failure to follow Urbn Patio Doors care, and maintenance guidelines will void this limited warranty.
• Normal wear and tear, discoloration or fading of finishes from daily sun exposure.
• Product installed without proper drainage or moisture management.
• Condensation, frost, mold mildew or fungus on product surfaces. (This is not a product defect. Is the result of excess humidity from poor management of water and moisture infiltration in the construction).
• Corrosion on hardware due to environmental conditions and poor maintenance.
• Extreme wear and tear to operational hardware resulted from higher usage than usual, poor maintenance, negligence, misuse, abuse from individuals unfamiliar with the operation of the door or screen.
• Improper operation of the sliding panels, including failure to open/close in the correct position, or using extreme force to lift/ swing the handle upwards/downwards.
• Water intrusion, air infiltration, or conditions as a result from factors, flaws, or deficiencies not relevant to the product itself caused by construction, design, negligence, or poor judgement.
• Water intrusion on flush applications without a proper drainage, slope away from door, and/or 10 ft. minimum overhead.
• The product that has been sold by a third party in the United States, or in any country.
• Products that are supplied to us by client request (including but not limited to custom hardware smart devices) made by a third party.
• Damages caused by Shipping, handling, or relocating the product by a third-party.
• Corrosion, finish failure, tarnish hardware in coastal applications caused from acid rain, salt, air pollutants, sand, or chemical substances.
• Replacement of parts, hardware, screen mesh or blind, glass, and other products of the doors and screens not supplied by Urbn Patio Doors, LLC.
DISCLAIMERS AND LIMITATIONS
Disclaimer
Urbn Patio Doors, LLC provides one warranty and one warranty only: this Limited Warranty. No other warranties, whether written or oral, express or implied, shall be recognized. No third party, employee, or agent of Urbn Patio Doors is authorized to create, assume, or impose any additional obligations or liabilities on behalf of Urbn Patio Doors, LLC. This Limited Warranty expressly excludes any implied warranties, including but not limited to warranties of fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, durability, climate suitability, or compatibility with any specific design or project. Furthermore, this warranty does not guarantee future performance or the expected lifespan of any Urbn Patio Doors product. The sole remedies available under this Limited Warranty are repair, replacement, or refund, as determined at the sole discretion of Urbn Patio Doors, LLC.
If state law prohibits the exclusion or limitation of implied warranties, the process for making a claim will be the same as that outlined in the express warranty stated herein. Any products or components not covered by this limited warranty, or another express limited warranty provided by Urbn Patio Doors are sold without any warranty and "as is." If the end user, architect, licensed installer, owner, or construction professional fails to adhere to the installation and maintenance instructions provided. All express warranties will be null and void. It is crucial to follow the instructions provided to ensure warranty coverage.
Limitations
Urbn Patio Doors, LLC cannot be held responsible for any incidental, special, consequential, indirect, contingent, or punitive damages arising from claims related to breach of warranty, breach of contract, tort, strict liability, or any other cause. This includes claims related to the delivery of defective or non-conforming goods, breaches of any other provisions of this limited express warranty, or disputes arising from contracts between Urbn Patio Doors and purchaser(s), agents, employees, subcontractors, end-users, or other third-party entities involved in recommendation, installation, modification, or repair. In no case, will Urbn Patio Doors, LLC liability exceed the purchase price of the product or component in question. No employee, or representative of Urbn Patio Doors can change, or in any way, modify either orally or in writing this Limited Warranty, any changes made will not hold legal power or influence.
Certifications and Ratings
Certification and ratings are usually based on testing a single product sample through a range of computer simulations and physical tests that are conducted by a California state-approved testing facility. However, it is important to note that the performance of individual products may differ due to varying usage conditions and installation locations. It should also be clarified that these certifications and ratings should not be perceived as performance warranties.
Suitability
In no circumstance is Urbn Patio Doors, LLC liable for determining the suitability of any product for a specific project, design, application, climate, condition, customer need, use, or purpose. Additionally, Urbn Patio Doors cannot guarantee that the integration of its products into a building design will obtain any third-party certification or standards. Doors and windows are merely one component of the building envelope. Urbn Patio Doors will not be held liable for any claims of damage arising from inappropriate product selection, faulty building design or construction, damage to the building, improper installation, or inaccurate orders. Selection of application, glazing materials, sealant, and product configurations are out of our control; therefore, Urbn Patio Doors, LLC assumes no responsibility. The responsibility of determining product suitability, glazing materials, applications, and configurations lies with the owner, user, architect, licensed installer, and/or construction professionals to follow applicable laws and codes to make selections and stay in compliance. Even if the exclusive remedy mentioned in this limited warranty is deemed to fail for its essential purpose, these limitations of warranty and liability shall apply and survive.
Installation Assurance Clause
As part of Urbn Patio Doors Limited Warranty, we extend an Installation Assurance Program designed to support the proper setup of our products. This program includes non-binding guidance, advisory support, and/or non-invasive inspection services provided by Urbn or its designated representatives, solely to verify that the product appears to be installed in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications. the customer acknowledges that Installation Assurance is a courtesy program and not a contractual or statutory obligation.
Disclaimer of Installation Liability
Urbn Patio Doors LLC. expressly disclaims all liability for the performance, conduct, or workmanship of any third-party installers, contractors, subcontractors, or tradesperson involved in the installation of its products. The Installation Assurance Program does not constitute acceptane of/or responsibility for the labor performed, nor shall it be construed as the formation of any implied agency, partnership, joint venture, or legal oversight obligation between Urbn Patio Doors and said installers, contractors, subcontractors or tradesperson.
No Assumption of duty
Urbn Patio Doors involvement under this clause is advisory in nature and for the benefit of the purchaser. It shall not be interpreted as an assumption of duty or obligation to supervise, manage or guarantee the work completed by any third party. The customer, general contractor, installer or subcontractor and property owner bears full responsibility for ensuring the installation is completed by qualified professionals in compliance with all applicable laws, codes, permits, licenses , and industry standards.
Limitation of Warranty activation
Urbn Patio Doors LLC. reserves the right to withhold final warranty activation or deny claims if the product is found to be improperly installed, operated, cared for, or otherwise compromised due to non-conformance with our technical, operational, maintenance or finishing guidelines. Determination of installation compliance are made at Urbn's sole discretion.
Governing Law, No Class action, No Jury Trial
THE WARRANTY WILL BE GOVERNED BY THE LAWS OF CALIFORNIA, AND ANY DISPUTES OR CLAIMS AGAINST URBN PATIO DOORS, LLC, IT’S EMPLOYEEES OR AFILIATES MUST BE MADE ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS AND NOT AS A REPRESENTATIVE OF ANY GROUP OR IN ANY OTHER REPRESENTATIVE LEGAL ACTION, OR MEMBER OF ANY CLASS ACTION OR PROCEEDING, UNLESS SUCH A WAIVER IS PROHIBITED BY LAW.
ANY CLAIM OR DISPUTE, SHALL BE FIRST BE DETERMINED BY MUTUALLY AGREABLE TERMS, ANY DISPUTE WITH URBN PATIO DOORS WILL NOT BE DETERMINED BY JURY TRIAL, THE PURCHASER, END USER, OWNER KNOWINGLY WAIVES THE RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL. ELECTING TO SUBMIT ALL DISPUTES UNDER THIS WARRANTY TO A MUTUALLY AGREEABLE MEDIATOR, WITH EACH SIDE TO BEAR ITS OWN FEES AND COSTS. IF THE DISPUTE IS NOT RESOLVED THE DISPUTE SHOULD BE SUBMITTED TO A MUTUALLY AGREABLE ARBITRATOR, PURSUANT TO THE ARBITRATION RULES OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA. IN THE EVENT OF ANY CLAIM MADE UNDER THIS WARRANTY, THE WINNING PARTY SHALL BE ENTITLED TO RECEIVE REASONABLE FEES FOR ATTORNEYS, EXPERTS AND COSTS. IN CASE A CLAIM IS RELATED TO THE INSTALLATION OF THE PRODUCT, URBN PATIO DOORS RESERVES THE RIGHT TO COLLECT ATTORNEY FEES, EXPERT FEES, AND PRODUCT TESTING EXPENSES. THIS IS A STANDARD PRACTICE IN THE INDUSTRY AND IS AIMED TO ENSURE FAIRNESS AND TRANSPARENCY FOR ALL PARTIES INVOLVED.
No Waiver
If Urbn Patio Doors, LLC decides to deviate from any of the conditions or limitations stated in this limited warranty, it will only apply to a specific circumstance and for a limited time, as determined solely by Urbn Patio Doors. This exception should not be interpreted as President or as a waiver of Urbn Patio Doors, LLC rights to enforce all conditions and limitations stated in the warranty.

As outlined in the Terms and conditions of your purchase, it’s crucial to inspect your product immediately upon delivery. Any damages to the packages should be reported directly to the driver, it is advisable to document evidence with notes, images and/or videos. Ensure that all images and video evidence is taken with the product, in the crate, or in the cardboard wrapping, before installation. For any technical requests or warranty claims, report them as soon as they are identified, ideally no later than 30 days after discovery and within the warranty period, before any repairs are undertaken.

Urbn Patio Doors technicians are not responsible for any third-party installation-related adjustments, and they are not authorized to perform any adjustments as it may potentially void the warranty provided by the third-party installers to the owner/end user. Any modifications or adjustments affecting third-party warranties remain the sole responsibility of the third-party individual/company and the owner/end user.
